Ok, as far as Internet hotspots, I have never tagged Kamloops as one of the biggies.

But, as [Darren Barefoot](http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/archives/001544.html) passed along, they are [the first city in Canada to get city-wide wifi](http://www.ebizblog.ca/archives/2004/12/a_wireless_city.html).

Nice place...but, not for me.
