# Redhat to Purchase Netscape Server

A while back, I suggested that maybe the Mozilla Foundation should save [Netscape Server/iPlanet/SunONE](http://spierzchala.typepad.com/lost_below_the_49th/2004/12/commentaries_on.html). Well, looks like [Redhat is going to do it instead](http://news.com.com/Red+Hat+finalizes+Netscape+buy/2110-7344_3-5491342.html?part=rss&tag=5491342&subj=news.7344.20).

Somehow this does not fill me with glee.
