# This happened to me…but all they got was spam

When [my Blogger space was hijacked](http://spierzchala.typepad.com/lost_below_the_49th/2004/12/my_former_bogge.html) (after I had abandoned it), someone else took it over, name and all.

Just sad to see that this is going to become an issue.
