# Urban Blight: The Exodus From California Cities

Jeff Nolan and I have had our differences, mainly over Prop. 13. But his [posting](http://sapventures.typepad.com/main/2005/04/no_surprise_the.html) that links to [an article](http://www.chronwatch.com/content/contentDisplay.asp?aid=14102) listing the reasons why people are fleeing California cities (or the state entirely) is heartening.
Not for California. But for those of us who decided that we couldn't stay there and live in one of the world's richest economies, and tolerate a third-world public infrastructure.
