This is what I found when I dumped out my pen/pencil case this morning. Does anyone out there find this unusual? I don’t.
In the last year, I have used every trendy writing instrument that I have read about. Fisher Space Pens, G2 Gel Pens, Uni-Ball Signos, Uni-Ball Power Tanks, and even the old standby, the fountain pen.
In the last week, I have re-discovered the joy of the pencil. There is something liberating in using something so simple.
It’s old-fashioned, but I love it.

I got the UniBall Power Tank in Golden, and it has replaced all of my other pens. A gel pen with a pressurized tank, it lives up to its reputation to write anywhere and on anything.
Effectively, it is a $2.95 Fisher Space Pen. And how can that be wrong?
